Classes are held on different days at various times to accommodate more students ~ one or two students (or private class) - 5 hours, 3 to 4 students - 6 to 7 hours.

A nonrefundable deposit of $50 is expected two (2) weeks prior to the start date of your class.

Class size is limited and is on a first come first served basis so early registration is highly recommended.

Children's classes, ages 5 through 8, and 9 through 12 run about 3 to 3 1/2 hours and one parent per family is welcome to attend.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A REIKI CLASS:

A student receives the ability to work with Reiki through "attunements", a process by which certain chakras (energy centers) are opened within the body. It is through this process whereby the practitioner is able to channel Reiki for self-care and for others. This process is simple and safe and is discussed in detail for all Reiki students prior to the actual attunements. While we may do our best to understand Reiki, on some level, it is authentically mysterious and profound.

Commonly, many students will feel some type of energy shift in the hands which grows and changes as Reiki is used in one's own life. This is true for all that receive a Reiki attunement, including Masters. So, while it is clear that you will leave a Reiki I class with the ability to do Reiki and a Reiki II class with the ability to incorporate the symbols in your life it is also true that "one day does not a healer make". The more that you practice Reiki, the more you will feel Reiki manifest energetically and otherwise in your life. This has been the powerful experience of many practitioners! Energy also adjusts differently in each person, especially for the first few days after a Reiki attunement. We will discuss this more in class.
